After years passed in the digital domain, I’ve noticed that every company faces a lack of talent. I believe that some profiles, oblivious to the fact they might be future geniuses, can be found everywhere, in the traditional education system, among the ones who dropped out of it, the unemployed, or the employed… The observation is the following: Thousands of people have the skills to envision and design the world of tomorrow, but they lack the training to support them.
This is why 42 is the answer!

Have you heard the story of the credit card that, because of its algorithm, proposed higher credit rates to women? Or the automatic soap dispenser that would not recognize the skin of people of color? And what about the AI that assigned the masculine gender to anyone called ‘doctor’?
Tomorrow’s computer science is on the tip of everyone’s tongue. At 42, we have the opportunity to make it happen. In order to create the truly inclusive world of tomorrow, we do need every talent available, wherever they may come from. This is the only way the industry can grow healthily and benefit from the opportunities that new technologies offer. Our goal is to attract talent from various horizons, who bring their own experience to help design universal solutions; for whom one achievement is never enough. Technologies grow fast: The status quo is constantly overridden and one needs to anticipate mutations that do not exist yet. I’m proud to be heading a network of campuses that don’t only train a new generation of developers but also serve as an inspiring model for the whole IT industry in France and around the world!
