What is NOC 42?
In 2013, 42 opened its first campus at 96 Boulevard Bessières. Ten years later, in 2023, 42 is launching NOC 42: an open space and practical day-to-day facilities to bring the Épinettes-Bessières district together. NOC 42, winner of the “Réinventer Paris” competition in 2016, offers new opportunities to the entire 42 student and local community. The acronym stands for Not Only a Campus.
The NOC 42 Residence
For one night, one week, one month, or more: NOC 42 enables those applying for or studying at 42 to book a bed-cabin in the Residence. It offers fully adapted spaces for people with reduced mobility, whether in mixed groups or not, just opposite 42's main campus. Vending machines are available for everyday needs: food, drink, etc. Sanitary facilities include shared toilets and showers. From €9 incl. tax per night.

The Bessières and Brousse buildings
NOC 42 offers two buildings totalling almost 5,000 m² in a modern style that blends into the urban landscape. The architecture was entrusted to AR studio d’architectures.

In 2023, 42 is launching a complete renovation and expansion of its historic campus: the 42UP project. The pharaonic works, which will take 2 to 3 years to complete, have necessitated the temporary relocation to NOC 42 and to the Made in Saint-Ouen annex. Once the work is complete, new opportunities will open up at NOC 42.
Réinventer Paris
NOC 42, an award-winning project
NOC 42 won the Réinventer Paris competition in 2016. The aim of this call for innovative urban projects was to bring to life Parisian sites owned by the city or its partners. The project stood out for its ambition to create a natural synergy between the success of 42’s educational project, local community life and the needs of local people. NOC 42 brings together institutions, businesses and associations to better meet the expectations and needs of the Épinettes-Bessières neighbourhood.
